A little history is in order about The Green Hornet and his trusted sidekick, Kato.

The Green Hornet one of the first masked costumed crime fighters and Super hero, made his debut in January, 1936. He had problems with the police, because they viewed him as an amateur or an outright criminal. The Green Hornet was the secret identity of newspaper publisher Britt Reid. Reid was aided by his trusted butler and sidekick Kato .  Kato was a Filipino of Japanese descent, but during the 30s conflict was brewing with Japan, thus his character was altered and said to be Korean.

The crime fighter’s main means of transportation was the powerful Black Beauty, with Kato behind the wheel as The Green Hornet’s chauffeur.

Fast forward from the days of radio, t.v. series and the 60s through the early 2000s movies, we can soon look forward to the latest spectacular The Green Hornet and Kato at the end of 2010 or perhaps January, 2011 (?). The Green Hornet Strikes Again…!
